Makenna decided she needed a fort under our dining room table.

Makenna decided to pick out her clothes today. She even did her hair and picked out her shoes she wanted to wear. She insisted that I don't help her with any of it. OH DEAR!! Definitely will not take her out in public looking like that, but I had a good laugh!

Our runt is growing!

Alexa is almost four months and I feel like she went through a huge growth spurt this past month. I can't wait for her check-up to see how much she grew in the last two months.

Another Peoria trip

Summer is an awesome opportunity to spend time with family. Makenna is loving all the time she is spending with her cousin's, and swimming at Aunt Fawn's house. When Brett has busy work weeks, I just pack up the kids and head south a couple hours. I love living this close to my sister's.

Date night at The Melting Pot

Brett and I are celebrating 6 years of marriage in a couple weeks and because of our busy schedules coming up, we decided to celebrate early. We had a delicious dinner at The Melting Pot. I love my husband so much and I've had the best six years of marriage with him. I have the most amazing life with him and I can't thank God enough.

It's amazing the similarities in looks between Alexa now and Makenna at her age. They definitely look a like but they are different too.

Alexa is 3 1/2 months now and she's going through a growth spurt. All the sudden we've noticed she packing on the pounds. I can't wait till her 4 month check-up to see how much she weighs. She's still short, we think, compared to what Makenna was at her age. She's sitting in her Bumbo seat now. She loves to sit and stand.

We have the luxary of watching fireworks from our backyard. And it seems like every year we watch them they get better and better. We have a lot neighbors that like to put off fireworks too.

Sparklers 101

She really enjoyed the Sparklers except for touching it while it was hot. She learned her lesson.

Fun City

Makenna loves swimming with her muscles on. She is definitely not afraid of the water.

Makenna went bowling for the first time and got a spare. That's our girl!

The Go Cart racing was SO MUCH FUN!!

Makenna rode with my dad. She kept yelling, "Mommy slow down" everytime I passed her.

I finally got to meet my Aunt Lana's son Ethan who will be one in August. That makes him my first cousin.
