We were lucky to have a 60 degree day last week and my sister Brook and her kids Mae and Noah, and my mom were able to spend a GORGEOUS day at the Brookfield Zoo. We couldn't have asked for more perfect weather and there weren't tons of people like there are in the summer. The kids had a blast!!
My mom was in town visiting for a week and Brett and I took full advantage of her being here. We took three date nights out of the six she was here. It was SO GREAT to get away and spend some QUALITY time as a couple. Since Alexa was born it's been very rare that we get a night out together alone. I can't thank my mom enough for giving us that special time away.
We just love having Daddy home on his days off. We also find fun things to do.
Makenna started gymnastics this Fall and loves it!! She's a little hesitant with a few things, but then somethings she is very brave with. I'm so proud of her and glad to see that she enjoys it.
