Alexa's Baby Dedication

We were so thrilled and thankful to dedicate our Alexa to the Lord in front of family and friends at our church this past Saturday night. We chose a verse for Alexa that we hope will encourage and guide her throughout life . We shared this verse in front of our church. It's Psalm 32:7-8 "you are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you. " We also asked our Pastor to pray for BOLDNESS over her. We pray that the holy spirit will be so abundantly strong in her that she will be bold enough to withstand all that the world will throw at her. "On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand."

Alexa update

Alexa is 8 months now. I can't believe it. She is still such a runt. She is 16 lbs. 11 oz. I know that only because she was recently at the doctor for an ear and eye infection. She is waving hi and bye. She is not crawling yet, but gets places by rolling all around the house. She has 4 teeth going on 5 very shortly. She is still waking up before 6am. What am I doing wrong with this child? She is an early bird, and I AM NOT! I dream of the day when she will sleep till 7am. But...she is still such a sweet, cuddly little girl.

Just for fun!

Makenna's gymnastics!

You can tell from this picture how well she paid attention to her teacher.
Makenna's gymnastics is over for the Fall. I have to say she was quite interesting and frustrating to watch. I'm not sure if it was her age or her hyperactivity. She did not pay attention very well. She found a friend and the two of them were trouble together. Her teacher has a huge amount of patience. I can't tell you how many times I heard, "Makenna, go back to your carpet square."
But she really enjoyed it, and I am definitely signing her up for the Spring session.

Time with cousin's!
