Happy New Year!

It's hard to believe that we have been parents now for a year. Times flies by way too fast! We still think it's crazy that we have a toddler walking around our house. One things for sure, we still love each other more than ever. We will be celebrating our 5 year anniversary this year. I'm still hoping for that cruise. There may be a lot of unexpected things happening with Brett's job as far as relocation. But no matter what happens, we are at a peace about it. Ultimately, God is in control and He owns the Master Plan for our life.

Look at my pearly whites!

I thought this was a good shot of Makenna's mouth. Take a good look at all of her teeth. She's got a lot! She got 6 teeth in the last month. She's got 14 total. So glad to have the bottom molars through.

Yummy Chocolate!

I was making some dessert bars and just had to snap a picture of her cleaning out the chocolate bowl.

Goodbye Uncle Grant

Brett's brother Grant has been living in our basement since May and is moving out to go to school at University of Northern Iowa to finish his B.A. He will be missed and has really bonded with Makenna. He has seen her go from sitting up, to crawling, to pulling up, and now walking. She will miss her Uncle Grant!

Working out with Mommy!

Makenna is getting ready to work out with Mommy. I have made a New Year's Resolution to start working out again. Makenna got in the spirit of working out with me. She has already learned how to stretch.
