We are adjusting well. Well of course lack of sleep is an issue, but she is a doll and we love her so much. Makenna is thrilled that Mommy and baby Alexa are home from the Hospital. Alexa actually came one day before my due date which was a HUGE shock. I was supposed to be induced today the 26th. I was thrilled to be in labor. And the labor was very pleasant this time. I still had issues with my retained placenta and lost a lot of blood. But God was watching over me and taking care of me. The doctor was great! In case you are wondering about the middle names: Jo(Brett's moms middle name) Lee(my moms middle name)
I am so excited to have two girls. I wanted Makenna to have a sister. Brett was shocked when another girl came out. Everyone had been telling me that I was carrying a boy. So I think he started to believe it. But.. he is so happy to have another girl. They just make his heart melt. God has a sense of humor. Brett did say, "well it looks like we're having one more."

We thoroughly enjoyed the 60 degree weather. What a tease it was for us.

Makenna went on the Big Girl swings all by herself. She is growing up so fast!!

And she went down the slides all by herself. Last summer she wouldn't go down them.

Oh Dear!!

I came home from my doctor appointment on Thursday to find Brett and Makenna playing outside. This was how Brett had dressed her for the day. I thought it was hilarious and couldn't stop laughing. Leave it up to a man to do something like that.

Spring come today!!

We're excited for Spring, then summer to come. Makenna loves to play outside. We will probably be outside most of the day all summer long. I can't wait to have this baby and then enjoy the summer again.
