Play Date at the Lilly's

Who said my house was to small for 7 kids, and 4 mommies? Surprisingly, it wasn't. We had a great time. Makenna loved it so much she decided she couldn't settle down to take a nap that day. What a joy!! I really do look forward to getting together with my girlfriends a couple times a month.

A Surprise from Daddy

Brett came home with a surprise for Makenna yesterday. Toys went clearance at 75% off at his Target store. She is really into the Disney Princesses so this was the perfect gift. It would have been a great Christmas present except we weren't willing to pay the regular price for it. It was a great surprise!!!

Makenna is always finding my shoes and wearing them around the house. It's so cute!

It's amazing what Makenna can find in the kitchen cabinets. It was her idea to wear these bowls as hats.

New Hat

My friend Tanya from Oregon made Makenna this hat. It is so adorable. She can wear it now and still has room to grow into it. Tanya makes all the hats herself. If you want more info. her blog link is on our page under Chris and Tanya. I believe you can special order, colors, etc. She also makes jewelry.

Big Sister Training

Makenna is training to be a BIG sister soon. She is doing a great job with her baby dolls. I hope she is this good with her real baby brother or sister. It's so fun having a little girl. I never had brother's growing up so I'm not sure how I will handle having a boy.

Mommy's little helper

Makenna had fun decorating the homemade pizza. It's nice that she is older and able to help me with little tasks.
