Date Night

Yes, I am a Rascal Flatts fan. When I heard they were coming to Chicago, I thought, what the heck, it would be a fun concert to go to. So I made Brett come along, even though I am the bigger fan. It was an outdoor concert and we couldn't have had better weather. We had Grandpa, two Aunts, and three cousin's at home to keep Makenna happy. WE had a great time. It made us feel young again. We've been married for 5 years now, and we aren't getting any younger.

Taylor Swift was their opening act. She was really good.

My sister Robin and her daughter Michelle are visiting from Florida. We are having a blast. And Makenna is loving her new playmate. Plus, Michelle just follows her around everywhere. They'll go up to Makenna's room and play. It's so cute! Every once in a while, we hear, "Michelle, NO!" from Makenna. She's becoming quite the little boss.

5 YEARS!!!

Happy 5th Anniversary to the LOVE OF LIFE! Wow, it's been five years. And the best 5 years of my life. I love you so much and thank you for the amazing man you have been to me and our family. A provider, lover, friend, and father. And your energy keeps this family and marriage alive. And I do owe all my thanks to God who has blessed us with five great years of marriage. And I pray that we have many, many more anniversaries to celebrate just how great our relationship is. I LOVE YOU BABE!

Sad news

Brett's aunt Colleen has lost her battle with cancer. We just received the news today around 1:30pm. What an inspiring woman who has remained so faithful to our Lord and Saviour through all the hardships she has been through with her cancer. We do have something to celebrate though, she is finally rejoicing with Him in Heaven. Please pray for her family that they will have peace about her passing.
