I love Brett's days off. We just lay around and do nothing. Well we do family stuff. We just love each other's company.

Well we decided to put our place on the market. We're doing it just to see what would happen. We don't need to move, but the way the market is, if we could sell, we could afford a bigger single family home. So really it's in God's hands and we are letting Him do all the work.

Those of you who know me know I am not the typical Homemaker. I'm a little on the lazy side. Well my friend Emily just talked me into planting some flowers to spice up the outside of our place. And let me tell you, it makes a huge difference. I am really proud of myself for doing this. I think I will keep this up every summer now. Thanks Emily!!

Brookfield Zoo

The Ladies from my small group and I went to the Brookfield Zoo on Friday. Surprisingly the kids did really well without their morning naps. We were disappointed because we didn't get to see the tigers and lions. They weren't outside. Makenna loved the monkey, gorillas, giraffe's and of course the elephant which I didn't get a picture of. She is so obsessed with animals right now, it was so awesome to see her reaction to seeing them up close.

Bye Bye Uncle Curtis

Uncle Curtis (Brett's brother) graduated college in December and has recently taken a Youth Pastor position at a church out in Seattle, Washington. When he was living in Oklahoma, we didn't see him often, and now he is going to be even further away. But he will be in our prayers and pray that God will do amazing things through Curtis.
