Are you thirsty?

I heard a great sermon on Easter Sunday from our Pastor at EFCN. Are you someone who is thirsty? Always looking for the material things of this world to satisfy you-nice cars, the career, money, fancy clothes, substance abuse, etc. The list could go on. We have all tried something to make ourselves feel better and satisfy our thirst. But until you truly know what it feels like to never feel thirsty and your soul satisfied, you will keep looking and keep trying the quick fix remedies to make you feel better. Well I have news for you. Jesus can satisfy that thirst. If you truly believe that He is the Lord and He died on the cross because of our sins. WHICH WE ALL HAVE SINNED! Your thirst can be quenched and you will no longer need those quick fixes to make you feel happy.
What does it mean to never thirst again? John 7:37 says, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water. " Jesus is the only true joy in life you will ever have. Everything else are blessings from Him. Give God the glory this Easter and Praise Him for quenching your thirst today and always.

It hit 50 degress today! Yippee!!!!!!
Yes, it hit 50 degrees today and it felt like 70 to us. We've had a very cold and brutal winter with lots of snow. Some people might think we are nuts especially California people. When we lived in Cali, it did get to 50 degrees in the winter there and people were bundled up in thick winter jackets, scarfs, beanies and always complaining about how COLD it was. Well when you live in the Midwest, 50 degrees feels warm in the winter. You wouldn't believe the number of people we saw outside yesterday. Call us crazy, but the weather did lift a lot of the winter blues we have all been feeling. I can't wait for spring and summer to come so I can get back to stroller rides to the park and swimming days.
